Not trying to be a dick, but this term created by Jennifer Hames of Florida State University explains a lot about our sensory responses to high places.
When, after watching or talking about something creepy, scary or unsettling at night (like Ghosts or Werewolves that stalk the night) you are afraid of everything and want to go to sleep so that its morning, however, you're afraid to go to sleep because you fear you might have a nightmare about said subject.
"After watching the horror flick I couldn't go to sleep because of my creepsomnia. "
It combines the word creepy and insomnia for the effects of being scared to sleep and not being able to sleep.
Paranormal Activity left me in a real paranoia, I could barely sleep.
